What next?

Patrick A Steele is an accountant with training in a variety of physical skills who feels the need to right the wrongs in society!

Link to my second book newly released. Same rule as above!

Patrick A Steele is concerned about the influence of the USA on Great Britain! What will he do?

I am still considering what to do with this third book! I like the relationship that Patrick is building with the police inspector. How does that conflict with his colleague Naomi? Still that will be considered over the next few days. Sometimes I take risk and just write- it flows - sometimes it makes sense and at others it needs re-writing. Some of the sentences are decidedly quirky but it is a flow of ideas.
A promotional article appeared in the Mirfield and Dewsbury Reporter today. I really hate that photograph!

Other Stuff

Now I don't wish to alienate anyone but I am rather old-fashioned and this fuss in the news about silicon breast implants that are failing raised an old question in mind. Do we humans need to do this type of surgery? It embraces all sorts of operations such as face lifts, botox injections and transplants to name but a few. I just have the feeling that if people who have had such 'work' done were happier with who they are there wouldn't be such an industry! If we loved ourselves more why would we need a straighter nose or liposuction? I feel for the people who have had work done and it has gone wrong but surely any kind of surgery may involve considerable risk.
God gave us what we have, or if you do not believe, the characteristics we display are inherited and any new characteristics are an accident of genetic combinations. There is someone out there for all of us and they will be attracted to all our lumps and bumps because of the people we are more than what we look like. Changing our shape cosmetically may send confused messages to a future partner and a person could end up alone as a result.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - don't mess with God's good work!

God bless
