No Excuses for Celebrating

It is always an experience singing in different venues but going back to the Royal Albert Hall is always special in some way.
Life behind the scenes at the Hall. There are long curved corridors that tend to get filled with instrument cases and when everyone is entering or leaving the stage jammed with people.

This was our first view yesterday in brilliant sunshine.
Inside without an audience but nevertheless impressive. The venue was sold out and I was informed 6034 people were watching. and as is traditional the Promenaders stand in the space in the centre right by the orchestra and just behind the conductor.

We were just taking our seats ready for rehearsal.
This view shows the ornate decoration on the exterior of the building. Sorry about the clarity.

God Bless
