Tuesday Recipe - Spicy Gammon steaks with crisp potato stack


This recipe I made in conjunction with the Baked Ham featured last week. It actually is quite easy and although the Gammon steaks look a little over done the dusting of cayenne pepper and chilli powder is the main cause of the colour. The recipe recommends that you use chef's rings to cut out perfect shapes, but I don't have any and wasn't about to buy them for this one occasion. They may be necessary in the future!
The meal is very tasty but was enhanced by serving with green veg. although baked beans would work also.
