Offerings concerning incidents that have occurred in the last few days.

The first is a niggle that could be potentially dangerous for road users.

Peacefully driving along in my car,
the person in front is a proper star,
turned left without a hint or clue.
Mirror signal manoeuvre fool!

Proceeding in a northerly direction,
driving – the personification of perfection,
do I have to engage sensory perception?
Mirror signal manoeuvre clot!

They used to signal with their hand,
then yellow arms out stand,
superseded by flashing indicator band.
Mirror signal manoeuvre man!

Pedestrians need movement information,
cyclists are safer knowing your intention,
other drivers appreciate indication.
Mirror signal manoeuvre dolt!

What is the reason that you don’t do it?
Is it ‘whatever’ or why tell you it?
And mind your business nosey old git!
Mirror signal manoeuvre twit!!!!

Georgy porgy

I cooked cheesy garlic bolognese pie last weekend, very tasty by the way and if interested have a look at the Recipe Tab, and a friend of mine couldn't get the opening lines from 'Georgy porgy' out of his mind which inspired the offering below.

Cheesy garlic bolognese pie
Crossed the lips made taste buds fly
Instead of putting all away
Saved some for another day.
